How often will I get billed?
We offer a few different payment plans. For year round customers we offer monthly billing. During mowing season, we offer both weekly and monthly billing.
How will I receive my invoice?
We mail, fax, or e-mail the invoice.
Do I have to pay with cash or will you take a check or credit card?
We accept cash, check, or credit card. We also accept ACH payments.
I need an estimate, how much does it cost?
We do not charge for estimates.
We are scheduled for an estimate, what do I need to do?
You do not have to be home for us to provide an estimate. We do ask that you make us aware of any stipulation you might have. For example, if you have a dog in the backyard, a tricky gate, or someone sleeping during the day we would like to know so we can take the appropriate steps.
Should I use a mulching mower?
If you can mow more than once per week, mulching mowers are great for adding nutrients back into the yard. If you mow once per week, mulching mowers lose some of their effectiveness and its better to bag your grass.
I hear alot about dethatching a lawn, should I do it?
Thatch occurs when grass clipping fall on the yard. This typically occurs if the yard is not bagged or mulching was not done properly. The thatch impeads the grasses ability to grow. Dethatching can help remove the old clipping and allow the yard to grow fuller and healthier.
Is it best to mow a different direction each time I mow?
Other than making the yard look good, mowing in alternating directions does not help the health of the yard. You can prevent ruts and mower tracks by alternating and give the yard a professional look.
When is the best time to water?
Early morning is the best time of the day, typically between 5-9:00am. If you cannot water during this time, later evening is the next best alternative to not watering at all.
What is the right amount of water for my lawn?
While it depends on the type of grass you have, the typical lawns needs between 1 to 3 inches of water per week. Its best to water multiple times per week to keep the lawn healthy.
